India Meteorological Department (IMD) said on Friday (April 4, 2025) that in the next six days, heat stroke in northwest India and temperature in the capital Delhi is expected to reach 42 degrees Celsius.
According to the Meteorological Department, the affected areas include southern Haryana, Delhi, Western Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab and Gujarat besides Rajasthan and Western Madhya Pradesh. IMD said that during this period, the maximum temperature in many parts of central and northwest India is expected to increase by two to four degrees Celsius.
