Santra Saju, a resident of Kerala, was studying at Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh, the capital of Scotland. “At 11.55am on Friday (27 December) we were called to a report of a body found in a river near the village of Newbridge, near Edinburgh,” Police Scotland said in a statement. Police said, “The body has not been formally identified yet, but Santra Saju’s family has been informed. However, the police have not considered this death suspicious.” The police also said in their statement that a report into the matter will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal, Scotland’s Prosecution Service, which investigates deaths.
Saju seen in CCTV of supermarket on 6th December
According to PTI report, Saju was seen in the CCTV footage of the ASDA supermarket store in Almondvale, Livingston on the evening of 6 December. Let us tell you that while giving information about Saju in this case, the police had immediately appealed about a missing person. Saju was wearing a black jacket with a fur hood, beige fur earmuffs and a black facemask. Apart from this, he also had a black colored rucksack bag. The police had also appealed to the people that if anyone has any clue about Santra, they should give information.

Inspector Alison Lawrie, of Corstorphine police station, said in a statement: “We learned that Santra took a black and white shopping bag to Barnwell on Friday evening, but when she got inside the supermarket, she He didn’t have the bag.”
