Security forces are running search operations amid bad weather.

Bhim Sen, Inspector General of Police of Jammu Range Bhim Sen said, 4 terrorists have been detected at 8:30 am, which we were searching for for the last one year. Despite the fog, the search operation is going on and the real situation will be known only after the weather improves.

According to the report of the news agency PTI, officials said that the terrorists who have been surrounded are members of Pakistan-based Jaish-e-Mohammed and a joint search team led by Army Para Commandos found them hiding near Karur Nala. Jammu -based Army’s White Night Core posted on X and said, “The Indian Army and Jammu and Kashmir Police launched a joint operation in Basantgarh area. Facked with terrorists. The search operation is still going on.”

This campaign named Operation Bihali ‘Code’ has been started at a time when the annual Amarnath Yatra will start in Kashmir after a week. Apart from this, the security forces conducted a search operation in Purmandal area of ​​Samba district late on Wednesday (25 June 2025) after receiving information about suspicious activity. However, after nothing was recovered, the campaign ended peacefully.
