Jagdeep Dhankhar resigned to President
Jagdeep Dhankhar sent his resignation to President Draupadi Murmu on Monday evening. In his resignation sent to Murmu, Dhankar said that he is leaving the post with immediate effect for “giving priority to health care”. Trinamool Congress demanded removal in 2020
In December 2020, five MPs of the Trinamool Congress (TMC) submitted a memorandum to the then President Ram Nath Kovind, demanding the removal of Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar from the post.
