New Delhi. Indian opening batsman Shefali Verma has revealed that he has seen almost all the Test innings of Sachin Tendulkar to return to the national team. Shefali said that these videos inspired him and taught the importance of honoring good balls while batting. The selectors have called him back for the upcoming five -match series against England. Due to which he got another chance to confirm his place for the Domestic ODI World Cup to be held in 2025.
Shefali had earlier talked about his father Sanjeev’s heart attack, which happened before he was out of his team. In the interview, she further told how she was feeling lost at that time, but she handled herself by focusing on her fitness and batting.
Shefali said. “That was really difficult for me. Then, suddenly, I was not selected in the team. It was difficult to motivate myself at that time because I didn’t even know what is happening. Then, for the next 20-25 days, I just worked on my fitness. When I picked up my bat after that, I liked it very much. It was a different kind of feeling.”
