In Shamli district of Uttar Pradesh, a couple was overshadowed by asking for wages money. On Tuesday, the victim Ravish Kumar and his wife Anu Devi went to the temple to meet the member of the temple committee to demand the outstanding money of wages. But he was beaten up there.

It is alleged that the member of the temple committee forcibly pulled both of them into the room and brutally beaten. Ravish Kumar suffered serious injuries in his feet. After this, the accused in connivance with the police caught Ravish Kumar. The police took Ravish to the police station and gave a third degree. Later, Ravish was filed with his wife and sister -in -law and the challan was cut.

Police gave third degree to the laborer

The aggrieved side complained to SP Shamli Ramsevak Gautam along with Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) district president and other activists. He said that the police forced him without investigation. The SP assured that appropriate action would be taken against the policemen and the inspector.

SP ordered an inquiry

The woman also alleged that the head of the temple committee tried to molest and insulted it with caste words. On June 6, the woman was called to the temple on the pretext of wage money. When he protested, he was shocked. SP Ramsevak Gautam says that the investigation of the case is going on. Action will be taken against whoever is found guilty.
