Bollywood saw many superstars in the 80-90s. It includes the names of Amitabh Bachchan, Shashi Kapoor, Dharmendra, Raj Kapoor and Sridevi. Apart from hard work and fame, one thing that is common in all of them is to work in at least 100-200 films. Today proved to be a sad day for the industry. Vaitaran actor Manoj Kumar has passed away. These were the stars of his era, who worked in very few films and left the hearts of the audience.

Fans used to wait for months for the release of his film many times. Most of the films were also commercially successful. Manoj Kumar had expressed his opinion about doing less films in an interview. At the same time, there were two blunt things about friends Dharmendra and Shashi Kapoor.

Manoj Kumar told himself better
Manoj Kumar never followed any trend. Rather made. Most of the patriotic films were done. He had more focus on storytelling. Manoj’s contribution in the entertainment world has been amazing. Manoj Kumar did around 80 films, out of which he did a lot of brief roles in the initial career.

In a conversation with Jha of Subhash, Manoj Kumar said that he should not be greedy like the rest of the actors. He said- I have never been greedy in terms of films. Not even an actor. Dharmendra and Shashi Kapoor did about 300 films with me, but I almost did 35 films in my career, in which I gave up my life.

Manoj Kumar reduced to films in the late 80s, because his films were continuously flopping. Flop films included ‘Clerk’, ‘Santosh’ and ‘Kalyug and Ramayana’. In 1995, Manoj was last seen on screen. The name of the film was ‘Maidan-e-Jung’. After this, he said goodbye to his acting career. In 1999, four years later, Manoj stepped into the direction. He made the film ‘Jai Hind’. In a 40 -year career, Manoj left his mark on the hearts of the audience.
