After the praise of PM Modi, Congress leader Shashi Tharoor is facing differences with his own party. Now Congress MP Manikam Tagore from Virudhunagar in Tamil Nadu has taunted the post of Azad Birds of Tharoor.
Tagore wrote with a hunter bird (Birds of Pre) poster on ‘X’- In today’s time, an independent bird also has to see the sky before flying. Because hunters like eagle, vulture and eagle are in search of prey all the time. Freedom is no longer free, especially when hunters fly with patriotic wings.
Actually, on Wednesday a day earlier, Tharoor wrote in the ‘X’ post- Do not ask for permission to fly. The wings are your own and the sky is not of any one.

Now understand how the whole dispute started
Tharoor had said- Modi’s energy property for India
In an article published in The Hindu on Monday, Tharoor wrote that Modi’s energy, dynamics and desire to join remain a major property for India on the global stage, but they should get more support.
Congress said- this opinion of Tharoor, not of the whole party
This article was seen as a growing rift in his relationship with Tharoor’s Congress party and his leadership. However, the Congress opposed Tharoor’s statement saying that this could be their personal opinion, not the whole party.
Kharge said- Modi first for some people
Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge taunted Congress leader Shashi Tharoor on Wednesday to praise PM Modi in Delhi. He said, “I cannot read English, but Tharoor’s language is very good. We have made him a member of the party’s working committee. The whole opposition together said that we are with the army. The country is first for us, but for some people, Modi is the first for us.”
Tharoor gave clarification in Moscow on praise of Modi
Talking to the media in Moscow, MP Shashi Tharoor said on the praise of Operation Sindoor and PM Modi, “I made a statement on Modi’s energy because the Prime Minister himself has shown mobility and energy in conversation with other countries. He has traveled to countries more than any Prime Minister and he has done so to take India’s message worldwide.”
Tharoor had said, “I have been believing for a long time that political differences in our democracy should stop on boundaries. For us, there is no such thing as BJP’s foreign policy or Congress’s foreign policy, only Indian foreign policy and Indian national interest.”
Congress claims- Modi government’s foreign policy completely failed
Tharoor has praised the Prime Minister at a time when the Congress is constantly attacking the Modi government on its foreign policy. The Congress alleges that the Indian diplomacy is shattering and the country is isolated globally.
Since the Pahalgam attack, Tharoor has been making comments on India-Pakistan conflict and diplomatic access which are different from the Congress’ stance. Congress spokesperson Supriya Srinet claimed that issuing advisory on behalf of the Trump government for those visiting India defames the country.
The Congress had demanded that the government should register a protest on this and take a tough stand. The Congress claimed that the Modi government’s foreign policy has completely failed.
