Shatrughan sinha on ucc: Trinamool Congress (TMC) MP Shatrughan Sinha has shocked everyone with his recent statement. He advocated implementing the Uniform Civil Code (UCC) across the country and said that it should be made effective all over India. Along with this, speaking in support of beef ban, he also spoke of banning non -veg.

Raising the issue of beef ban, Shatrughan Sinha said that it has been banned in many places and it is also correct. He said, “If you ask me, the beef ban is correct and why the beef ban should be banned in the whole country.”

Need to remove UCC flaws – Shatrughan Sinha
Shatrughan Sinha described the Uniform Civil Code (UCC) implemented in Uttarakhand as a commendable step but also discussed its flaws. He said that it is necessary to fix the nuances present in it before implementing the UCC.

He said, “The rules that can be implemented in North India cannot be implemented in the northeastern states. Therefore, an all -party meeting should be held before finalizing the provisions of UCC.”

UCC preparations in Gujarat too
UCC was implemented in Uttarakhand from 27 January. The Gujarat government is also taking steps towards implementing the UCC. For this, a committee has been formed under the chairmanship of retired Supreme Court Judge Ranjana Desai, which will submit the report in 45 days.

What did the Uttarakhand government say about implementing UCC?
Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that bringing the live-in relationship under the purview of the Uniform Civil Code is not to interfere in privacy. He said that this will provide social security to the youth and will prevent incidents like Shraddha murder. After Shatrughan Sinha’s statement on UCC and non -veg ban, the debate in political circles has intensified.
