Dr. Narendra Singla said that when medicines are taken on an empty stomach, they are more rapidly absorbed, which can have a sudden and such an effect on the body which can never be imagined.

He said, ‘Due to this rapid abusage, blood pressure, heart beat and blood sugar levels may fluctuate rapidly. Understanding by example, if some anti-aging drugs like glutathione and vitamin C injection can cause a sudden decline in blood pressure, which can cause unconsciousness, shock or cardiac arrest.

Taking some medicines after eating food can help reduce the side effects from them, improve their disorders, or to process the drug properly by the body. However, there are some medicines that are taken on an empty stomach.

Dr. Singla said that if you are fasting or taking any cosmetic or health treatment, then take advice of a doctor before starting any medicine. He says that if you are fasting or taking treatment like anti-aging, then everything related to your health should be done only with the advice of a doctor. If this is done without advice, then there can be serious harm to health.
