Shivraj Singh Chauhan also clarified that non -violence does not mean weakness. In the context of the Indo-China war of 1962, he said that if we only keep saying ‘Hindi Chinese Bhai Bhai’ and come to China and occupy our land, then it will be called weakness. This comment was on the slogan prevalent in the era of former Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru, in which brotherhood was said to be brotherhood in relations between India and China, but later China attacked India.
