A dreadful incident of murder has come to light on the outskirts of Bengaluru. Here a person brutally murdered his wife and reached the police station himself with his chopped head on a bike. The accused confessed the entire incident in front of the police, due to which the police officers were also surprised. The police have arrested the accused husband and registered a case under the relevant sections of the Indian Code.
According to the information, this incident is from Heilage village located near Chandapura in Bangalore. The accused has been identified as Shankar (28), who is a resident of Hannagara area. His wife Mansa (26) was a resident of Hebbagodi. Both of them had a love marriage. Some time ago, he came to live in the village with a rented house. Shankar went out of work on the night of June 3. Returned home late at night, he was surprised.
He saw his wife in an objectionable position with another man. After this, there was a fierce fight between the two. Shankar first beat up both of them, after which angry wife Mansa was strangled to death. The police was shocked by what Shankar did after the murder. He put his wife’s head in a bag and sat on his bike and reached Suryanagar police station directly.
There he surrendered in front of the police and said that he had killed his wife. Police say that there were frequent quarrels between Shankar and Mansa. Mansa had said to separate from Shankar several times. She also used to torture her mentally. She came home again on Thursday night. There was a dispute between the two again, which finally turned into this dreadful incident.
Suryanagar police have registered a case and started investigation. The police is also trying to find out who was the other young man present in the house at the time of the incident and what was his role. Evidence is being collected from the spot. Shankar, accused in police custody, is being questioned in detail. At present, the police is investigating the entire case with every angle. Further action is being taken in this matter.
