Shubhanshu Shukla’s career
Born in Lucknow in the year 1985 and in the Aliganj branch of City Montessori School, Shukla, who got education up to class XII, graduated from the National Defense Academy and joined the Indian Air Force in 2006. In 2019, he was selected for India’s Gaganyaan Human spacecraft program and later selected as a pilot for AX-4. NASA’s senior doctor Paigi Whitson (Mission Commander) and Shukla’s 14-day mission with Hungarian and Poland astronauts will contribute to micro-physical science, nutrition and seed germination in space including seed germination in areas.
