The Indian Air Force Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla will bid farewell to space after completing the historic journey at the International Space Station (ISS). This special moment was held as a farewell ceremony at 7:25 pm (Indian time) today. The ceremony was broadcast LIVE, which was seen by millions of people worldwide. The Farewell Program also included AX-4 mission team and NASA’s Expedition 73 team members. Please tell that Shubhanshu Shukla is the first Indian to reach ISS. At the Farewell ceremony, Shubhanshu Shukla gave a message for India and said that- all from Jahan.
Let us know that on 26 June 2025, Shubhanshu Shukla and his partner left the AX-4 mission from Kennedy Space Center in NASA through SpaceX’s dragon vehicle. The mission featured US experienced astronaut Paigi Whitson Commander, while other members were Savosz Ujnansky of Poland and Tibor Kapu of Hungary.
These four revolving the Earth more than 250 times and covered a distance of more than 6 million miles. During this 17 -day visit, the spacecraft team conducted more than 60 scientific experiments, including research and new centrifugation techniques on microalgy.

After the Farewell Ceremony, on July 14 at 2:25 pm (IST) will board the dragon aircraft of Crew SpaceX and will separate from ISS at 4:34 pm after completing the necessary pre-flight check. His return to Earth will be on July 15 at around 3:00 pm with a splashadown on the banks of California. According to ISRO, Shubhanshu Shukla will have to go through a 7 -day rehabilitation program after returning to Earth, so that they can become comfortable in the gravitational position of the Earth.
