Indian opener Shubman Gill has received the ICC Player of the Month Award. He won the award surpassing Steve Smith of Australia and Glenn Philips of New Zealand. This is Gill’s third Player of the Month Award, before he won it in January and September in 2023.
In the 5 ODIs played in February, Shubman scored 406 runs at an average of 101.50 and a strike rate of 94.19. He was the top scorer for 259 runs in the 3 -match ODI series played between India and England. India won this series 3–0.
