Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday reacted sharply to Congress MP Praniti Shinde in Lok Sabha to call ‘Operation Sindoor’ as “spectacle”. He not only described this comment as insensitive, but also described it as “acid” on the wounds of 26 people killed by the terrorists.
What did PM Modi say?
Referring to Shinde’s statement in the House, PM Modi said, ‘A completely new member of the Congress … What should they say, they should forgive them, but they should write the bosses of the Congress and call them, they do not have the courage in themselves. He told Operation that it was a spectacle. This is a sin to sprinkle acid on the 26 people who had killed this terrorists. You say the spectacle, your disagreement can happen, they call Congress leaders.

‘Prime Minister Modi said,’ He (Praniti Shinde) was forced to say ‘Operation Sindoor’. It is like putting acid on the wounds of 26 people who were killed in the attack of terrorists. “He said that such things drop the morale of the security forces and politicize the serious issue like national security.”
Shinde told Operation Sindoor
Significantly, during the discussion in Parliament on ‘Operation Sindoor’, Congress MP Praniti Shinde raised serious questions on the government. He had said, “Operation Sindoor government had a spectacle in the media. Nobody is telling what was achieved in this operation. How many terrorists were caught? How many fighter jets were lost? Whose responsibility is it? This government should answer.”
PM Modi said-Congress did not get together
PM Modi said in the House, in 193, only three countries had given a statement in support of Pakistan. Quad, BRICS, any country, India got support from all over the world. I am saying clearly on foreign policy, the world was supported, but unfortunately, the might of the heroes of my country did not get the support of the Congress.
