Four teenage boys going to a wedding ceremony in Sitapur district of Uttar Pradesh died after being crushed by a high speed truck. Hanumant Lal Tiwari, in -charge of Rausa police station, said that a truck full of rice husk was going from Sitapur to Bahraich, when it overturned on the boys standing on the roadside on Sunday night. Local people rushed the four to the Community Health Center, where they were declared dead.
According to the news agency, Sitapur police said that the deceased have been identified as Munna (16), Sufiyan (15), Altaf (15) and Alfaz (14). They are all residents of Bahraich district. The bodies of the dead have been sent for postmortem. At the same time, after receiving the information, there was chaos in the family of the deceased.
It is being told that the deceased passengers were standing on the road, when the truck coming at a high speed overturned uncontrollably and took them. The incident was so severe that all four died on the spot. The CO and SDM have inspected the scene and directed to investigate the case.
Police say that the truck driver is being searched. The driver escaped from the spot after the incident. The truck was loaded with husk, which was going to Bahraich. This tragic accident happened last night in Reusa police station area.
