Indian captain Suryakumar Yadav has decided to donate the entire match fee from the Asia Cup to the victims of the Indian Armed Forces and Pahalgam terror attack. After the first match played with Pakistan in the Asia Cup, Aam Aadmi Party leader Saurabh Bhardwaj challenged Team India’s captain Suryakumar Yadav. Now after trampling Pakistan in the final, the BJP leader targeted Saurabh Bhardwaj.
BJP challenged Saurabh Bhardwaj
BJP leader Ajay Alok shared an old video to Saurabh Bhardwaj on X. In this, the AAP leaders are saying, “If Suryakumar Yadav is your status, then you give a second challenge to you as much money you have earned in the business of cricket, give all the money to those 26 widows. We will also agree.” On this, the BJP leader wrote, “If your status is Saurabh Babu, then show his one month’s salary, the Indian captain has shown it.”
Sky decided to donate match fees
India won the Asia Cup by defeating Pakistan by five wickets on Sunday. Suryakumar wrote on X after the match, “I have decided to donate my entire match fees from this tournament to the victims of our armed forces and Pahalgam terrorist attacks. You are always in my thoughts. Jai Hind.”
Indian players get four lakh rupees in every match in T20 format i.e. Suryakumar Yadav will get Rs 28 lakh for seven matches of the tournament. The Indian team did not join hands with Pakistani players throughout the tournament. Team India’s captain Suryakumar dedicated the victory over Pakistan in the first group match on 14 September to the victims of the Pahalgam terrorist attack and the Indian armed forces.
Pakistan had filed a complaint with the ICC by accusing him of making political statements and also demanded a ban on him. The ICC had asked them to avoid such statements by imposing 30 per cent of the match fees on that day.
