Shillong Police has received a shocking input from Sonam Raghuvanshi’s mobile call record. It is learned that Sonam was talking to a boy named Sanjay Verma before the murder. He called a young man named Sanjay Verma 112 times between March 1 and March 25. That is, almost four to five times every day there was a conversation between them. According to the police, this cannot be a normal contact.
Who is Sanjay Verma?
Now the question is arising, who is Sanjay Verma? Is he involved in the conspiracy of this murder? Or was it helping Sonam? Or is he the real mastermind of this bloody conspiracy, who kept behind the curtain and only ordering? The police is now engaged in connecting this link.
Suspects were also seen in visit to Ghazipur
Earlier, in the journey from Sonam to Ghazipur from Varanasi to Ghazipur, some such clues were also found that she was not alone. Ujala Yadav, a resident of Saidpur in Ghazipur, claimed that on the night of June 8, when she reached Varanasi from Lucknow and sat in a bus to go to Ghazipur from there, Sonam was also present there.
Ujala had told that Sonam asked her to go to Gorakhpur and then left Ghazipur by bus. But even more surprising was that Sonam was not alone, but there were two young men with her, one of whom was wearing a white shirt and both kept their face covered.
During the journey in the bus, Ujala was watching videos related to Raja Raghuvanshi murder case on social media, which Sonam became uncomfortable and asked her not to do so. After this, Sonam asked for a phone from Ujala, typed a number, did not call and deleted the number.
Testify of dhaba
Sahil Yadav, the owner of Kashi Tea Stall of Ghazipur, also told the police that Sonam had not reached there in a disgrace or scared condition, but got down from a nearby car and came to the shop comfortably. From there she called her brother Govind. That is, Sonam’s entire plan was already decided. With whom did she come with? Was Sanjay Verma present in the car there?

Based on Sonam’s call details and witnesses, the police is now focusing on these important questions-
– Is Sanjay Verma the person who was helping Sonam?
– Was Sanjay together in the journey from Varanasi to Ghazipur?
– Is one Sanjay among the two people who came to see Ujala Yadav?
– Has the SIM purchased by fake names was used in this whole case?
The Shillong police suspect that the accused must have used them by taking SIM cards with fake names, so that the real identity can be hidden.
Shillong police reached Indore
On Tuesday, Shillong Police reached Indore and went to Raja Raghuvanshi’s house and questioned the family. The police interacted with the king’s mother and two brothers for an hour. The focus of the conversation was- Sonam’s behavior, her relationship with family and activities during honeymoon trip. Earlier, the police had also searched the flat where Sonam came and stopped after the murder.
Second weapon now recovered
On Tuesday itself, the police conducted a crime scene on the occasion. During this time, another weapon used in the murder was recovered from the ditch, which was missing till now. The police had already told that two weapons were used in the murder of the king.
Not with betel nut, murdered in friendship
The Shillong Police has already made it clear that it was not a betel nut killing. Raj Kushwaha prepared his friends – Akash, Vishal and Anand for murder in friendship. They were not given any kind of amount of money, but were given only ₹ 59,000 for travel and other expenses.
First failed attempt, murdered for sixth time
Police investigation has revealed that the king’s murder was planned four or five times. For the first time, the attempt in Guwahati failed. For the second time, there was no place to place the dead body in Nonghariah. For the third time, the plan failed in Mavalkhiyat. Then the attempt to kill him in the water also failed. And then finally on 23 May, the murderers got a chance near the Dong Falls and the murder of the king was carried out.
