The Meghalaya Police claimed the same after the first day interrogation of the five accused. SP Vivek Syem says that Sonam’s alleged lover Raj Kushwaha is the mastermind and Sonam is a partner of equal. 11 days before Raja and Sonam’s marriage, Raj had prepared a plan for this murder.
The police also say that Sonam had a plan to go to Siliguri, not Nepal. She wanted to present herself as a victim. On the first day, the Meghalaya Police has separated the five accused separately. After this inquiry, SP Vivek Syem answered the most important question in press briefing. The SP said- it has become clear that her alleged boyfriend Raj Kushwaha, who called Sonam, the mastermind of this entire murder, was Raj Kushwaha.
Raj and Sonam had a love affair. Sonam was married to Raja on 11 May. 11 days before this, Raj and Sonam together had decided that they would remove the king from the road and then get married. Sonam Raj was a partner in this murder of Kushwaha. He also supported Raj in the planning of murder.
According to the police, Raj and Sonam had planned that the couple would go to Guwahati in the name of honeymoon. The king will be killed here as soon as the opportunity is received. Vishal Chauhan, Akash Rajput and Anand Kurmi reached Guwahati on 19 May before Raja and Sonam reached Guwahati.
Here he also bought weapons (claims used to cut trees) to kill the king, but the murder plan failed here. After this, Sonam celebrated the king to walk Shillong. The king also agreed. On the first day, Raja and Sonam stayed at Balaji Guest House in Shillong on 21 May.
The next day on 22 May, he reached Sohra (Cherrapunji), 80 km from Shillong. Under the plan here, Sonam took Raja to the deserted place where common people have to come down. At night, he stayed in a home stay and the next day, according to the plan, Vishal, Akash and Anand along with Sonam killed the king.
SP Vivek Syem told that Sonam stayed in Indore till Ghazipur from May 26. Raj Kushwaha arranged a rented room for Sonam in Indore. Sonam was living there. But on June 7, Raj Kushwaha told Sonam over phone that the police had reached the sky.
Sonam then left from Indore. Sonam wanted to go to Siliguri and present herself as a victim. But when the pressure of the police increased, she stayed at a dhaba in Ghazipur. ,
The SP also made it clear that the theory of murdering betel nut has proved wrong. It is discovered that Vishal Chauhan, Anand and Akash are friends of Raj. It has a close relative of a secret. Inquiry and investigation only revealed that friends were ready to kill Sonam’s husband to bring Raj to his girlfriend.
It has also been learned that Sonam had given 15 thousand rupees to Vishal, Akash and Anand for expenses, but these money was not for the betel nut for murder. Rather, they were given for expenses.
After the murder of Raja on May 23, Sonam, who reached Indore via Guwahati, Siliguri, Patna via Lucknow, continued to stay in Indore till 7 June. On June 2, when the body of King Raghuvanshi was found, Sonam was in Indore on that day. Sonam was also keeping full news of her search operation through social media.
This was the reason that when Sonam’s brother Govind was pleading with the police for the search operation, Sonam started planning to go to Siliguri once again. She was doing this because brother Govind suspected that the smuggler would have taken Sonam to Bangladesh after the king’s murder. Sonam was about to go to Siliguri, 600 km from Ghazipur to prove her brother’s suspicion.
