Iftar party was organized in Delhi on Thursday (20 March 2025) by the Indian Union Muslim League (IUML). It included Congress national president Mallikarjun Kharge, Congress Parliamentary Party President Sonia Gandhi, Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav, SP MP Jaya Bachchan.
Leaders of many other parties including BJP have joined the Iftar party in the last few days. The iftar party was organized by the Delhi BJP Minority Front on Sunday (16 March 2024), which also attended the Union Minister of Minority Affairs Kiren Rijiju. He said that we should speak good things during the month of Ramadan. He said that regarding the Waqf Amendment Bill, I want to tell the Muslims of the country not to pay attention to any kind of rumor.
