Harbhajan slapped Sreesanth after a match between Mumbai Indians and Kings XI Punjab (now Punjab Kings) in Mohali. According to the reports of that time, Sreesanth was teasing Harbhajan to lose the match and Harbhajan lost his temper. Sreesanth was later seen crying and his fellow players consoled him. Both have left the incident behind and now share a friendly relationship but this incident still bothers Harbhajan.

Harbhajan remembered during an interview in Ravichandran Ashwin’s YouTube show ‘Kutti Stories’. “One thing I would like to change in my life is the event with Sreesanth. I want to remove him from my career. What happened was wrong and I should not have done so. I apologized 200 times… Yes, we were rivals in that game.
