The command of South Korea has now come into the hands of the new liberal President Lee J-Mung. Li J-Mung has promised to remove the country from the recent military regime crisis and bring back the slow economy. Lee won a decisive victory in the sudden presidential election on Tuesday. This election was due to the unsuccessful military rule that dropped the power of former President Un Units Yol in just three years.
According to the news agency Reuters, according to the National Election Commission of South Korea, Li J-Mung received 49.42% of the votes of nearly 3.5 crore votes, while his rival Kim Moon-Su-Su-Su-Su-Suk received 41.15% of the votes. This was the highest voting presidential election since 1997.
Lee J-Mung, who was a 61-year-old human rights lawyer, described it as a public decision and said that his first task would never be allowed to be a military coup again. He said in a speech outside Parliament that it is my first responsibility to ensure that no coup should be again again against people on the strength of weapons.

Taking responsibility for the presidency
The National Election Commission officially declared Li J-Mung as the President and took over as Commander in Chief. He had a brief swearing -in ceremony in Parliament.

The Washington-based Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) says that Lee J-Mung will have to compromise with Trump first after becoming President.

The White House has described Lee’s election as independent and fair and said that the alliance of America and South Korea will remain strong. However, the US also said that it is concerned about China’s intervention in democracy around the world.
