The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government headed by the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) in Andhra Pradesh, the Direct Cash Benefit Scheme ‘Taliki Vandanam’ for school students (Taliki Vandanam ‘(Thalliki Vandanam Scheme) It has been announced to implement. This scheme is one of the super six promises made by Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu at the time of Andhra Pradesh Assembly elections. Under this scheme, financial assistance of Rs 15,000 will be given to students from class one to 12th every year. This scheme has come into effect from June 12.

Under the Taliki Vandanam Yojana, financial assistance of Rs 15000 is to be given to the guardian of every eligible child. Out of these, 13 thousand rupees will be sent to the account of the student’s guardian. The remaining two thousand rupees will be spent to improve the infrastructure, cleanliness and cleanliness of the school, so that the necessary facilities can be developed in the schools.

This amount will be deducted while sending money to the account of the parents of the children. The Andhra Pradesh government is claiming the benefit of this scheme to get more than 67.27 lakh students of Andhra Pradesh. Along with government, students of private schools will be able to take advantage of this scheme.

Purpose of the scheme

The purpose of the Taliki Vandanam Yojana is to promote children’s education and empower parents. The aim of the government is also to reduce the rate of children’s leaving school due to financial constraints. Along with making the access to education inclusive and equal, the objective of the government is being said to be behind the introduction of this scheme.

The Andhra Pradesh government has allocated a budget of Rs 9 thousand 407 crore for this scheme. Out of this, 8 thousand 745 crore rupees are to be transferred to the account of parents of students. A deadline has been fixed till July 5 to complete the work of transferring funds to the account of the characters.

Who will get the benefit?

To get the benefit of Taliki Vandanam Yojana, one should be a permanent resident of Andhra Pradesh. Students from class one to 12th class of living below the poverty line will be received to apply to get the benefit of this scheme. The benefits of this scheme will be available to the children of those families, who if they live in rural areas, then the monthly income should not be 10 thousand, urban area should not exceed 12 thousand rupees.

The family should have a ration card. The beneficiary family should have less than three acres of wet land, less than 10 acres of dry land or less than 10 acres of land. The monthly power consumption of the family applying for benefits under the Taliki Vandan Yojana should be less than 300 units in the last one year.
