On the speech of Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, India hit back in the United Nations General Assembly. Petal Gehlot, the first secretary of India’s permanent mission, exposed Pakistan on the issue of terrorism and heard fiercely. He said that the Prime Minister of Pakistan again glorified terrorism, which is an important part of his foreign policy.
Gehlot reminded that on 25 April 2025, Pakistan had saved a terrorist organization like ‘Resistance Front’ in the UN Security Council from the responsibility of massacre of tourists in Jammu and Kashmir. He said that this is the same country which hid Osama bin Laden for decades and his ministers have agreed to running a terrorist camp.

Gehlot said that pictures of many airbase of Pakistan being destroyed by Indian forces recently are public. If Pakistan considers these burnt and broken runways and hangers as a victory, then it should be allowed to accept. He said that the truth is that Pakistan is responsible for the terrorist attacks on innocent citizens in India and India will always take steps to protect its people.

He also reiterated that whatever pending issues between India and Pakistan are, they will be resolved only at the bilateral level and no third party will have any role in it. Petal Gehlot said that this is the old and clear national policy of India.
Who is Petal Gehlot?
Petal Gehlot is one of the advisors in the United Nations of India. He was appointed as the first secretary in India’s permanent mission in July 2023. According to She The People, earlier he worked as an under secretary in the European West Division of the Ministry of External Affairs for three years from 2020 to 2023. She has also been posted in the Indian Mission/Consulate, Paris and San Francisco during her tenure as an under secretary.
