Justice Suryakant and Justice N. Kotishwar Singh were hearing the bench case. At the same time, the Delhi High Court expressed displeasure that the petitioners are not heard and the matter is settled only after listening to the MCD.

Justice Suryakant said that the court will get the constructions investigated which are accused of being illegal. At the same time, the builders who have done these construction and are in favor of ordering the CBI inquiry into the involvement of the officials in allowing them. Justice Suryakant reprimanded that the builders build these buildings and the MCD closes its eyes.

Advocated by the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) on the objections of the judge, the Advocate said that unauthorized construction has been removed as per the order of the Delhi High Court, where the matter is still pending. Justice Suryakant said, ‘When a person brings a public interest litigation, you suddenly wake up … unfortunately the High Court does not allow petitioners to say anything and suddenly stops the matter based on your statement. . We will instruct the CBI to investigate everything.

The case will now be heard next week. The bench said, ‘In this case, not only the team of experts need to inspect the site, but also to investigate the matters of the municipal corporation including measurement, as illegal and unauthorized commercial constructions are allowed for external reasons Was given A show cause notice should be issued as to why the order of intensive investigation should not be given.

The bench asked the petitioner to not pass the order without listening to the other party and asked them to suggest the names of the architects and engineers for the formation of a committee, who could go to the site and inspect. The Supreme Court was hearing a petition challenging two orders of the Delhi High Court, including an order related to the removal of unauthorized construction in the garden wall located in Fatehpuri in Chandni Chowk area, which was settled on this statement of MCD. That illegal structures have been removed.
