Talking to the media, Morcha leader Harinder Singh Lakhowal said that in the letter that has come, there are issues like convincing the farmers about opening the roads. Whereas it is also wrong that farmers have blocked the roads. The government has closed the roads. There is no mention of the demands of the farmers in this. In such a situation, we have decided not to go to the meeting.

Questions were being raised on this decision of the farmers About 4 days ago it came to light that the High Power Committee had called a meeting at the rest house in Panchkula. As soon as this invitation came, after that the statement of SKM leaders came that they would attend this meeting.
However, if sources are to be believed, a discussion had started on social media regarding this matter that if he is not involved in the SKM movement, then why is he going to the meeting. Whereas some SKM leaders also did not agree with this.
Farmers are standing firm even in the harsh winter on the Khanauri border of Haryana-Punjab. It has been more than 10 months since he has been sitting here.
On the other hand, BJP leader Harjeet Singh Grewal had said that he should appear before the Supreme Court committee. This committee is important. The group of Dallewal and Pandher has already made it clear that they will not attend the meeting.
Farmers are sitting at Khanauri border since 13 February 2023. Farmers have set up tents here. Tractor trolleys have been parked along with it.
The committee has submitted interim report to the Supreme Court This committee has been formed by the Supreme Court under the leadership of former judge Nawab Singh. An interim report was submitted by the committee to the Supreme Court last month. In which he had said that the agitating farmers are not coming for talks. The date and time as per their convenience were also asked from the farmers, but no response was received from them. However, the Supreme Court had appreciated the efforts of the High Power Committee.
