Former President of the Supreme Court Bar Association (SCBA) Adish Aggarwala has appreciated the decision to make the details of the assets of the judges public. He said that he feels that after the Supreme Court, the judges of the High Court will also do this. Adish Aggarwala has said about Justice Yashwant Verma surrounded by controversies since the cash scandal that after completion of the investigation, Chief Justice Sanjeev Khanna (CJI Sanjiv Khanna) can order criminal lawsuit.

On April 1, the Supreme Court judges decided in the meeting that all 33 judges would make public details of their assets public. The judges have taken this decision to maintain the trust of the people amid discussions related to corruption in the judiciary. Adish Aggarwala said that this is a very welcome decision, this will increase trust in people. He said that this will also apply to the Supreme Court judges formed in the future.

It was also proposed in the meeting that it should also be implemented on the judges appointed in the Supreme Court in future. Information about the property of the judges is given to the Chief Justice, but he is not publicized. Earlier on 26 August 2009, the then judges of the Supreme Court made public information about their property.

He said that after giving details of property by the judges of the Supreme Court, it is expected that the judges of the High Court will also do this after seeing this. Regarding the in -house investigation against Justice Yashwant Verma, Adish Agrawala said that the investigation will also be completed in the next few days. He said, “I think Chief Justice Sanjeev Khanna will also order to file a criminal case against him after the report of this inquiry.”
