Supreme Court on Raveer Allahbadia case: During the hearing of Ranveer Allahabadia’s petition, the Supreme Court has expressed concern over the objectionable materials on YouTube and other online mediums. The court has asked the Attorney General or Solicitor General to be present on the next hearing. The court has said that this serious subject cannot be ignored.
A bench of Supreme Court Justices Surya Kant and N. Kotishwar Singh reprimanded Ranveer Allahabadia, who did porn comedy during the hearing. The judges said that the dirt of the brain cannot be allowed to be broadcast in this way. However, the court later imposed an interim prohibition on his arrest.
‘Can not ignore the important subject’
After the completion of the hearing, the judges caught sight of Additional Solicitor General Aishwarya Bhati. Aishwarya Bhati was present in the court for another case. Justice Suryakant said, “We cannot ignore this important subject. What is happening on YouTube channel and other platforms? We want the Attorney General or Solicitor General to present at the next hearing and tell what the government is doing? ” On this, Bhati said that she will tell this to the Attorney General. Someone will be present in the next hearing.
