Mumbai. After IPL 2025, the schedule of T20 Mumbai League has also changed. The Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) announced the revised program of T20 Mumbai League on Tuesday. Now this tournament will be played on two grounds from 4 to 12 June. Earlier this tournament was to be played at Wankhede Stadium from 26 May to 8 June. According to the changed program, now some of its matches will also be played at DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai.
The T20 Mumbai League will begin a day after the closing of the IPL, which is like its previous program. Four matches will be played a day at both places during the league phase. A total of 23 matches will be played in it. The first match of the day at DY Patil Stadium will start at 10:30 am and the second match will start at 5:30 pm. Similarly, the Wankhede Stadium will host its matches at 2:30 pm and 7:30 pm.

A total of eight teams will participate in the third session of the T20 Mumbai League being held after a gap of nearly six years. Each team will play five matches in the league stage and the top four teams will make it to the semi -finals, which will be played at Wankhede Stadium on 10 June. The organizers said, ‘The final will be held on June 12 at the Wankhede Stadium. Reserve days will be on 11 June and 13 June respectively for both semi -finals and finals.
Many Indian cricketers in the T20 Mumbai League are its ‘icon player’. These include T20 captain Suryakumar Yadav, Ajinkya Rahane, Shreyas Iyer, Prithvi Shaw and Shivam Dubey. Other ‘icon players’ like Shardul Thakur, Sarfaraz Khan, Tanush Kotian and Tushar Deshpande may be out of the competition, as they have been selected in the India A team for the England tour starting on 30 May.
The tournament will also include other players from Mumbai like Ayush Mhatre, Angkrish Raghuvanshi, Suryansh Shedge and Musheer Khan. All these are currently busy playing in IPL. After a change in the IPL program, the tournament program was amended and a senior MCA official said that they are firm to organize the tournament despite the challenges.
