Can Suryakumar Yadav move from Mumbai to Goa cricket team. After this news in the media, he has become active from Surya to MCA. If Surya dismissed this news, MCA has also made its stand clear.
Suryakumar Yadav has called the news of leaving the Mumbai cricket team a rumor.
Mumbai. The Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) on Thursday denied reports that Suryakumar Yadav along with some of his companions plans to go to Goa for the upcoming Ranji Trophy season. The MCA said that India’s T20 captain is committed to representing Mumbai in each format of the game.
Mumbai opener Yashasvi Jaiswal has already announced to travel from Mumbai to Goa due to alleged differences with some senior players of the Ranji team. Jaiswal, however, will be able to connect with the Goa team only when the Indian Cricket Board (BCCI) will open its inter-state transfer window. On Wednesday, it was claimed in the media report that the Mumbai Ranji team under Suryakumar Yadav could leave. Later, Suryakumar himself rejected this report on his X handle.
MCA Secretary Abhay Hadap said in a statement, “The Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) is aware of the rumors on social media about joining Goa team with some other players of Suryakumar Yadav.” He said, ‘MCA officials talked to Surya this morning and we can confirm that this rumor is completely baseless and false. Suryakumar Yadav is committed to play for Mumbai and he is very proud to represent Mumbai.
The Secretary of MCA said, “We urge all of us to avoid spreading wrong information and support our players.” It can also be confirmed that the news of Tilak Verma going to Goa for Hyderabad has been found to be wrong.
