In the Survey of Clean Survey Ranking 2025, Bengaluru has been declared the fifth dirtiest city. The cleanliness standard falling in the city is completely opposite to the ambitious infrastructure project launched by Congress CM Siddaramaiah.
Please tell that Indore, Surat and Navi Mumbai have been rewarded as the cleanest city in this ranking. The Swachh Survekshan 2024-25 ranked digitally, which revealed that Ranchi, Chennai, Ludhiana, Raipur and Jabalpur have been included in the list of most dirty cities along with Bengaluru. At the same time, in this list, Ahmedabad, Bhopal and Lucknow have appeared as new clean cities of India, which have followed all the standards of cleanliness.
Small cities also included big cities
This year, small cities along with big cities were also included in the Clean Survey Report. According to a press release by the Ministry of Housing and Urban, the race of these changes has provided an opportunity to the small towns for improvement. Following the ‘one city, one prize’, cities who have improved cleanliness in every state were honored with ‘promising clean city’.
34 cities of the country honored
34 cities of all states and union territories of the country have been honored for cleanliness in the clean survey, which are indicative of urban hygiene and their progress. This honor was awarded by President Draupadi Murmu. In the Swachh Survekshan 2024-25, the maximum number of 10 cities of Maharashtra made their place, while 8 cities of Madhya Pradesh, 8 in Chhattisgarh and 4 cities of Gujarat participated in this rankings.

Addressing the program, President Murmu also attracted people’s attention to the important role of active in the economy, empowerment of youth, green employment generation and especially self -help groups (SHG) promoting entrepreneurship opportunities.
