From sexual harassment of 17 girls at an institute in Delhi, from the use of fake diplomatic number plate for their luxury cars, the list of allegations against Swayambhu religious leader Swami Chaitanyanand Saraswati is quite long.
Chaitanyananda is also known as Dr. Parthasarathy. Ever since an FIR has been filed against Chaitanyanand, shocking information has been coming out. How Chaitanyanand sexually assaulted the students coming from economically weaker sections and monitored them. On daring to protest, he even threatened to fail.
Bank accounts were opened by different names
According to the PTI report, amidst the action against ‘Baba’, the officials have come to know that Chaitanyanand allegedly used different names and information to run a bank account. Investigators said that after the FIR was registered, Baba withdrew more than Rs 50 lakh.
When was the FIR registered?
The administration of the Private Management Institute said that during a virtual meeting with more than 30 girl students, many accused Baba of sexual harassment and threatening, after which an FIR was lodged against them on August 4.
Chaitanyanand filed anticipatory bail plea
An anticipatory bail petition was also filed by absconding Chaitanyanand. A Delhi court on Friday dismissed a bail petition in a case of alleged financial irregularities filed against him. During the investigation against Swayambhu Baba, it was found that he allegedly opened a bank account with 2 different names by submitting separate documents.
The police further said that about 50-55 lakh rupees have been withdrawn since the case was registered. Delhi Police has freeze about 8 crore rupees from 18 bank accounts and 28 fixed deposits related to Swayambhu Baba.
