According to the report of the Pew Research Center, around 7,25,000 people in India are living illegally in the US. Among the illegal people in America are the population of Indians at number three after Mexico and El Salvador. 104 illegal migrants have reached India last day, that is, a large number of illegal migrants will come to India. & nbsp;


What the Foreign Minister said on the case of illegal migrants

External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar said while speaking in the Lok Sabha, " We have instructed the authorities to sit with every person (Indians exiled from the US) and find out how they went to America, who was the agent, and how we should be cautious so that it does not happen again. It is in our collective interest to encourage legal mobility and discourage illegal movement, if a citizen is found illegally living abroad, then it is the responsibility of all countries to call it back. The process of exile is not new."

‘This is not a new issue’

The Foreign Minister said, "We know that 104 people have returned to India tomorrow. We have confirmed his nationality. We should not understand that this is a new issue, this is an issue which has been happening before. We are interacting with the US government to ensure that there is no misbehavior with the exiles who return. It is the responsibility of all countries that if their citizens are found to be illegally living abroad, then they should be withdrawn."
