Tamil Nadu Father Donate Propeety to Temple: 65 -year -old retired soldier S Vijayan of Tiruvannamalai district of Tamil Nadu donated to the temple instead of giving his property to daughters. Vijayan’s decision came to light when documents worth Rs 4 crore were recovered from the donation box of Arulmigu Renongambal Amman Temple.
Vijayan, who has been living separately from his family for many years, went quietly in the temple and put 10 cents of land and the real documents of a single-mangle house in the donation box. Along with this, there was a handwritten note, in which he had talked about taking this decision due to the neglect and taunts of his daughters.
Temple gets ‘precious gift’
The temple’s executive officer M. Silambanasan said that this is the first time in the history of the temple that real documents of property have been found from the donation. The donation is opened every two months and this time the legal documents related to the land and house were also found in it. In the note received, Vijayan wrote that he has dedicated this property in the name of the temple and the name of God. He clarified that he will soon register this donation legally.
Why took such a decision? Father’s suffering, daughters greed
S Vijayan said in a statement to the media that his daughters not only took care of them, but also taunted their daily needs and made quarrels over the property. In such a situation, he decided that he would not give his hard earned money to those who are causing mental pain to them. Vijayan has been living alone for the last ten years and regularly goes to Renugambal Amman Temple. He said that the temple and the goddess supported me when my family was not. My property will now go to the service of the same goddess.
