Celebration of RCB’s victory turned into accident
In IPL 2025, the accident occurred outside the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore to celebrate the victory of Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). The crowd suddenly became uncontrollable before the Victory Parade started, causing a stampede. In this accident, 11 people lost their lives and at least 50 people were injured.
Stampede during Mahakumbh
During Mahakumbh, there was a stampede in the Sangam area on 29 January. On the occasion of Mauni Amavasya, millions of pilgrims were pushing to get a place for bathing. 30 people died in the stampede, 60 people were injured.
Life lost in stampede at New Delhi railway station
On 15 February, there was a stampede at platform number 14 and 15 of New Delhi railway station. 18 people lost their lives in the stampede, 15 were injured.
