‘Target inside 300 km in Pakistan’, CDS Chauhan said what is India’s new ‘Red Line’ against terrorism – India Draws New Red Line Against Terror, Says CDS Gen Chauhan on Operation Sindoor Ntcpan

Chief of Defense Staff (CDS) General Anil Chauhan on Saturday spoke openly on India’s policy against Operation Sindoor and Pakistan sponsored terrorism. He said in an interview during the Shangri-La Dialogue Security Summit held in Singapore that India’s Operation Sindoor has pulled a new ‘red line’ against terrorism and hoped that the neighboring country would definitely learn some lessons from military action.

Indo-Pak on the verge of war

CDS Anil Chauhan further said that two hands have to be added to clap, they hope that they will understand it. Operation Sindoor was started on the morning of 7 May, which was aimed at destroying nine terrorist bases in Pakistan and PoK in response to the terrorist attack in Pahalgam on 22 April. After this, the answer to Pakistani attacks was also given under this operation.

The four -day military conflict between India and Pakistan brought the two nuclear armed countries to the verge of war, which ended with consent to stop military action on 10 May. When asked about the learning from this struggle, General Chauhan said that India also used indigenous systems and platforms of other countries during the operation.

Target for 300 km in Pakistan

He said that we were capable of targeting with accuracy up to 300 km inside and Pakistan’s airbase and infrastructure were targeted. This shows our strong air defense capacity. General Chauhan said that due to terrorists, instability in the world is increasing and they play an important role in promoting conflicts.

Referring to India’s new ‘Red Line’ against terrorism, General Chauhan said that what India has done politically, has drawn a new red line of zero tolerance against terrorism. He said that I hope that this special operation will also give some lessons to our enemies and they will learn that this is the limit of tolerance of India.

Proxy war will not bear now

He said that we have been facing this proxy war of terrorism for more than two decades and we have lost many people. Now we want to finish it. Asked if India feels that there is strategic stability after the operation, the CDS said that two hands have to clap and join together to bring strategic stability, hopefully they will understand it and then we can see things.

During this conversation, General Chauhan admitted that India suffered air losses on the early day. However, he did not explain any accurate number. On the question related to the damage done to India in Operation Sindoor, Anil Chauhan said that it is not important how much loss has happened, but it is what mistakes were made. He said that the figures are not important, important is what we did after that.

He said that we are in the atmosphere of war and the disadvantage is a part of it. The question is, have we achieved our purpose? The answer is a strong yes. At this time, I would not like to comment on it because we are still in war and leading the opponent. All our pilots are back home. The CDS dismissed the claim of Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif in which he had said to kill six Indian aircraft.

PM Modi gave strict message

PM Modi also attacked a program in Gandhinagar recently and attacked this proxy war of Pakistan. He said that whenever there was a war with Pakistan, India’s military power has dusted Pakistan three times. Pakistan understood that he could not win from India in the fight and that is why he started a proxy war. Terrorists are sent to India by giving military training and innocent people are targeted. Whenever Pakistan got a chance, he kept killing and we kept enduring.

He said that after May 6, we cannot make a mistake of calling it a proxy war. The reason for this is because the funeral of terrorists in Pakistan was given a state honor, Pakistani flags were placed on the coffin, their army saluted, so it cannot be called a proxy war. Terrorist activity is no longer a proxy war but a war under a well thought out strategy and its answer will be given in the same way.
