Tata Group company Tata Motors is going to divide into two listed companies. Tata Motors chairman N Chandrasekaran said that the company has become debt -ridden and by the end of this calendar year, the company will work as two listed companies.

Addressing the shareholders at the 80th annual general meeting (AGM) of Tata Motors Limited on 20 June, Chandrasekaran recently paid tribute to the victims of the Air India Flight 171 tragedy and kept silence for two moments. He also paid tribute to the late Ratan Tata and described him as a guide and leader, whose values ​​gave a new shape to the Tata group.

Speaking on the demeter plan, Chandrasekaran said that Tata Motors will soon be divided into two listed companies. One company will focus on Commercial Vehicle (CV) and the other will be the focus on Passenger Vehicle (PV) and Jaguar Land Rover (JLR). He said that in the last few years, the company has greatly strengthened the operation to operate independently with the dedicated leadership and clear strategic direction and strengthened each section.
