Team India Family Rules: The ICC Champions Trophy 2025 is going to begin tomorrow (February 19) in hosting Pakistan. The final of the tournament will be held on 9 March. The Indian team will play their first match against Bangladesh on 20 February. But before this, a big news is coming from the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).

The BCCI has given the players a good news before the Champions Trophy. The Indian board has allowed the players to keep their family together during the tournament. However, a condition has also been laid for this. With this decision, the BCCI’s family rule is broken, it was made a few days ago.

What is BCCI’s family rule?

In fact, after the crushing defeat in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy on Australia tour, BCCI had made some strict rules after the review meeting. In this, Indian cricketers had reduced the time to be spent with their family on foreign tours.

Under the new regulations, if a tournament is 45 or more days, then the family will be allowed to stay only 14 days with the players, and if the tour is less than this, then it can be 7 days. At the same time, wives cannot live with the players during the entire tournament under the new regulations. The family can stay together for only 2 weeks.

Family will be together in a single match

But now the BCCI has broken its own rule. He has allowed the players to keep parents or wife together during the Champions Trophy. However, BCCI has given this permission for only one match. However, along with the focus team bonding, it will also be on ensuring that the players are without any disruption.

Players will have to get permission from the board to keep the family together for any one match during the tournament. The players will have to inform the board about the match of their choice, in which match he wants to keep the family together and accordingly the player will be allowed.

Indian team will play all matches in Dubai
