Technical fault in Indigo’s plane in Ahmedabad, took off on the middle runway; There were 60 passengers riders

The flight of Indigo Airlines going from Ahmedabad to Diu was chaos on Wednesday (July 23, 2025) when the technical fault came to light just before the takeoff. Flight number 6E 7966 was to leave at 11 am, but as soon as the aircraft was preparing for the takeoff on the runway, the pilot sent a message to the air traffic control (atC) and stopped the immediate takes off.

Aircraft returned from runway
The aircraft, which was going to fly with 60 passengers, was immediately removed from the runway due to security reasons and brought back to Bay. The aircraft was taken to a safe position and examined and all the passengers were removed from the aircraft. After the news of the takeoff stop, there was an atmosphere of nervousness among the passengers for some time, but due to the readiness of the airline and the airport staff, the situation was soon controlled. All passengers have been described as safe.

Airline confirms confirms, investigation continues
It has been confirmed by IndiGo Airlines that the flight was stopped for technical reasons and the decision was taken keeping the safety of passengers paramount. At present, technical investigation of the aircraft is being done, after which the plan for further flight will be decided.

Indigo airline regretted
IndiGo has regretted the inconvenience caused to the passengers and assured that every effort is being made to reduce any further problems. The statement said, “We are offering full refund to the passengers on refreshments, space or ticket cancellation in the next available flight.”

Technical fault also occurred in flight going from Goa to Indore
This incident has come to light at a time when an Indigo flight going from Goa to Indore on Monday had a technical fault just before landing. However, the aircraft had reached Indore safely. IndiGo said that the aircraft will be fully investigated before starting the operation of that aircraft.
