Telangana Ceo on Jubilee Hills By-Election: Telangana Chief Election Officer (CEO) C. Sudarshan Reddy has given a statement about the by -election in Jubilee Hills Assembly seat. He clarified that the by -election in Jubilee Hills Assembly seat is unlikely to be held soon. No notification in this regard will be issued in the next one or two months. Talking to the media at BRKR building, Reddy said that the Election Commission of India (ECI) has issued a notification for the by -elections in other states, but Jubilee Hills is not yet included in this list. The seat was vacant after the death of former MLA Maganti Gopinath.

Reddy said, “We have sent the gazette notification of the assembly to ECI. Now the Commission has to take a decision. At present, there is no possibility of a by -election here.” Along with this, he gave information about the 21 new initiatives of the Election Commission of India to improve the election process and voter facility.
Now the number of voters at each polling station reduced from 1500 to 1200
The Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) said that now the number of voters at each polling station has been reduced from 1,500 to 1,200. With this, more polling stations will be built in densely populated areas like high-region and gates community. Polling stations will be within 2 km radius from their house to facilitate voters. In addition, special zones will be created to deposit mobile phones outside the polling booth. The distance of the booth for election campaign has been reduced from 200 meters to 100 meters.
ECI Launched for technical improvement ‘Ecinet’ Platform
The Election Commission of India has launched an integrated platform called ‘ECINET’ under technical reform, which will add more than 40 services and applications of the Election Commission. In addition, the dead voters will be automatically removed from the list by integration with the Registrar General’s death record. Also, a cleanliness drive of duplicate voter ID cards (EPIC) will be conducted across the country, so that the same voter ID of each voter can be ensured. The Chief Electoral Officer of Hyderabad said that all these measures have been done to facilitate the election process and increase the participation and trust of voters.
