The life of a youth who went abroad to fly a dream ended in a moment. Pole Chandrashekhar, a resident of LB Nagar in Hyderabad, Telangana, was shot dead by robbers in Dallas city of America. After completing BDS, the death of this Dalit youth who arrived in America for higher education has immersed the whole family in deep shock. Everyone is getting upset by seeing tears flowing from the eyes of parents. The son, who had full faith in the house, now went away forever.
The incident is on Friday (October 03, 2025) in the morning. Chandrashekhar, 25, received a Bachelor in Dental Surgery (BDS) degree from a college in Hyderabad. In search of a bright future, he recently moved to Dallas, where he was doing a part-time job at a gas station along with higher education.
Unknown robbers shot dead
According to local sources, some unknown robbers entered the station in the morning and started firing with the intention of looting. Chandrashekhar hit two bullets in the chest and before reaching the hospital, he stopped breathing. The Dallas police have taken a suspect into custody, but the investigation is on.
This news like this news reached the family like lightning, the mother was crying in a bad state, the father kept sitting quietly with the wall, as if the whole world was destroyed. Neighbors’ eyes are moist, who remember Chandrashekhar as a hardworking and ambitious boy.
Telangana BRS MLA Harish Rao expressed grief
BRS MLA Harish Rao reached the family’s house and shared his suffering. He tweeted and wrote, ‘The death of Dalit student of LB Nagar Chandrashekhar is very sad. After completing BDS, Chandrashekhar, who went to America (Dallas), lost his life in the morning in the firing of the wicked. The pain of the parents, who cherished the dream of seeing the son at the heights, is now broken. My deep condolences to all family members.
Rao appealed to the Telangana government to coordinate with the Ministry of External Affairs and the US Embassy and bring the body soon. He said that immediate assistance is necessary in such cases, so that the family does not have to face any more mental trauma.
‘Security of Indian students in America too worrying’
This incident is spreading panic among the migrant students of Telangana. Chandrashekhar’s friends in Rachkonda and LB Nagar areas called a tribute meeting, where the youth cried, saying, ‘He was our inspiration. The safety of Indian students in America is also worrying.
Indian Embassy Houston has not yet made an official statement, but the family has been assured of all possible assistance. Experts believe that the youth going abroad need security awareness programs.
