A technical expert in Bengaluru became a victim of fraud of Rs 1.3 crore. The accused first gave online training in trading to the technical experts by luring them with the promise of earning profits in online trading. Took him into confidence by giving him a small amount of profit. Later they disappeared with a huge amount of money.
The accused did all this through a Telegram group. Later it was deleted. Police have registered a case of fraud under the IT Act on the complaint of a technical expert.
The accused formed a group with fake numbers and showed false evidence of profit in investment.
This scam started when this person was told about a Telegram group. This group was created by a person named Surendra Kumar Dubey. Surendra used to call himself a trading leader. There were about 60 members in the group. These people had shared screenshots of their profits to show the group as valid. Later these people turned out to be fraudsters working for Surendra.
Fell in the trap of these people and opened a demat account through the link given on the Technical Expert Group. Then invested Rs 10 thousand. This amount doubled in 7 days. After this the technical experts increased the investment. To test the platform, he tried to withdraw Rs 85,036 and also got the money.
However, when the technical expert wanted to withdraw Rs 20 lakh, his account was blocked. Shortly thereafter, the fraudsters deleted the Telegram group and were no longer traceable.
