In the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), once again there was a sharp noise between India and Pakistan about terrorism. Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar said in his speech at the General Assembly on Saturday without naming Pakistan that “most of the major international terrorist attacks are connected to the same country. One of our neighbors remains a stronghold of global terrorism and India is facing this challenge with independence.” Pakistan had reacted to this, with which India called it “Terroristan”.
Following the statement of External Affairs Minister Jaishankar, Pakistan reacted to ‘Right to Reply’ and accused India that India is trying to discredit Pakistan. The Pakistani representative said that India’s words are “well-planned attempts to repeat lies”.

India also retaliated immediately. In the permanent mission of India, the second secretary Rantala Srinivas replied, saying, “It says in itself that the country whose name was not taken, reacted and accepted the practice of its long-standing border terrorism.” Describing Pakistan as “Terristan”, he said that its terrorism has spread to many countries and it is a threat to the whole world.
‘Lies cannot hide the crimes of terrorism’
Srinivas also said, “Pakistan’s credibility is not hidden from anyone. No argument or lies can hide the crimes of terrorism.” After this, when the Pakistani representatives got up again, Srinivas went out of the meeting room.
In his speech, Jaishankar appealed to the world to condemn the countries that openly make terrorism a state policy, where terrorist camps run on a large scale and the terrorists are publicly appreciated.

Terrorism will become a threat only for those who spread terrorism!
The Indian official said that it is necessary to maintain constant pressure on the entire “ecosystem” of terrorism and the countries supporting terror should understand that “one day it will become a threat to them.”
Jaishankar, referring to the killing of innocent tourists in Pahalgam in April, termed it as “border-parliamentary” and said that India protected their people and put the culprits in the dock of justice.
