Terrorist Arrested: Coimbatore Police has achieved a major success in the campaign against terrorism. The police have arrested two dangerous and absconding terrorists for years. He has been identified as Abubkar Siddiqu and Mohammad Ali. Both these terrorists were involved in the most wanted list of the Tamil Nadu Police for nearly three decades and have been involved in many serious bomb blasts in the southern part of the country. The police arrested both of them from Annamya district of Andhra Pradesh on the basis of secret information and technical surveillance.
The accused who were absconding for three decades
Coimbatore police had recently received intelligence that Abubkar Siddiq, resident of Nagor and Mohammad Ali, resident of Melapalam, are hiding in Bangalore. After this, monitoring of his activities was started and his location was traced through electronic surveillance. While tracing from Bangalore, the police team raided Annamaya district of Andhra Pradesh and arrested both. After being arrested, he was brought directly to Chennai, where he has been handed over to Tamil Nadu’s Q Branch, State Anti-Terrorism Squad.
