Tesla Opens Second Showroom in Delhi, Four Supercharges will be available

Tesla, one of the large electric vehicle (EV) companies, started its second showroom in India on Monday in the capital Delhi. The company of Billionaire Elon Musk opened its first showroom in Mumbai’s BKC last month. Tesla’s showroom is in aerocity in Delhi.

Four V4 supercharges have been installed in the parking of this showroom. Tesla plans to install supercharges on some locations in Delhi NCR. The company’s model Y has been made available for sale in the country. Model Y Electric SUV’s supercharger can give a 267 km range in just 15 minutes of charging. Recently the company started the first supercharger in Mumbai. The company may soon start charging facility in cities like Hyderabad, Pune, Chennai, Bengaluru, Jaipur and Ahmedabad.

The V4 Supercharger has four destination charging stalls with AC charger with DC charger. With these charging units, supercharging stalls can reach 250 kw peak speed speed. Customers have to use the Tesla app to find out the availability of these chargers. Recently, Tesla had told that model Y will be delivered in Mumbai, Gurugram and Pune besides Delhi. Booking for model Y can be done on the company’s website. The initial price of this electric SUV is Rs 59.89 lakh. It has been made available in two variants – rear wheel drive and long -range rear wheel drive. The price of its long-range rear wheel drive variant is Rs 67.89 lakh. Through Tesla Design Studio, customers can also customize the exterior, interior and features of the model Y.

The range of Model Y’s rear-wheel drive variants is about 500 kilometers in single charge. It can reach a speed of 0 to 100 km/h in 5.9 seconds. Its long range rear-wheel drive range more than 620 km. It can reach a speed of 0 to 100 km/h in 5.6 seconds. Tesla has imported model Y from its own factory in Shanghai in China. Tesla’s EV in the country will compete with the electric models of companies making luxury vehicles like Chinese EV maker byd and Audi and Mercedes.
