The book that PM Modi has mentioned in Parliament, know what has written about Nehru in it – PM Modi Loksabha Attack on Rahul Gandhi for Foreign Policy Adviced Him to Read JFK FORGOTEN CRISIS NTCPVP

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday targeted the opposition fiercely in the Lok Sabha. Attacking Rahul Gandhi, he commented on foreign policy and mentioned the tenure of former Prime Minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. Please tell that along with being the Prime Minister, Pandit Nehru was also a foreign minister. Referring to a book (JFK’s Forgotten Crisis), PM Modi said that ‘read this book and know what was happening in the name of foreign policy.’

What did PM Modi say in Lok Sabha?
PM Modi said in the Lok Sabha that, ‘Some people feel that they do not look mature until they speak on the foreign policy, so one should speak on the foreign policy. Even if the country is lost. I want to say to such people, if they are really interested in foreign policy and understand the foreign policy, then you must read a book. Maybe this will make them understand where to say what to say.

PM Modi said, ‘The name of the book is JFK’s Forgotten Crisis. This book has been written by a famous foreign policy scholar. It mentions important events. This book describes the discussion between India’s first Prime Minister Pandit Nehru and then President of America in detail. When the country was facing a lot of challenges, then what was happening in the name of foreign policy is coming out through that book. The author of this book is Bruce Reidel.

What is written in the book

If the book has come out, then the question arises that what is so in this book? Actually, this book mentions former US President John F. Kennedy’s visit to India. Along with this, when India was struggling with war with China in 1962, what was the condition, it has also been included in the pages. The book draws many such episodes, which are going to make the Congress uncomfortable, drawing the blueprint of this entire era. Although PM Modi did not mention these incidents and affairs in the Lok Sabha, only took the name of the book.

At one place in the book, it is claimed that PM Nehru was taking more interest in his wife than John F. Kennedy.

When former US President came to India
This incident is from when US President John F. Kennedy came to India. He was accompanied by his wife and American First Lady Jackie Kennedy. According to the book, US President John F. Kennedy told his advisor and the then US Ambassador to India Galbretth that the visit to India was the “worst state tour” of his President’s tenure. He called it ‘Worst State Visit’.

He also realized that Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru was taking more interest in Jackie Kennedy (JFK’s wife) instead of talking to him. Let us know that the US embassy had hired a separate villa for a stay for Jackie Kennedy, but when she reached India, Nehru insisted that she stayed in a special guest suit of the Prime Minister’s residence.

This was the same room that Edwina often used to Mountbatten. Let me tell you that Edwina was the wife of Lord Mountbatten, the last Viceroy of India, she was in India during partition and continued to come to India even after independence. It is believed that Edwina and Nehru had very close relations. According to this book, Jackie was also getting extra care from Pandit Nehru.

‘Jackie’s picture was at entry gate’
Similarly, in another context of the book, it is mentioned that Nehru, who was very attracted to Jackie Kennedy, used to decorate only one picture at the main entrance of his house, in which he was walking with Jackie. According to another report, Nehru was more interested in Jackie’s 27 -year -old sister Pat Kennedy, who was considered extremely attractive.
