Sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) said many important things about society, change and ideals during the book inauguration program held in Delhi. RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat said, “1942 and after that, the British government had conducted a detailed survey of the Sangh with its intelligence.
He said, “He had activities, who gave speeches and what was said, in the end it was almost every collector’s comment that these people are not doing some disturbance, they are looking clean, but tomorrow when the movement against the British government starts, these people will prove to be a big obstacle for us. Nothing was there, but the union has grown, but the union has grown.”
He said, “Ideal are like stars, which we cannot touch, but their light shows our way.” He said that the route inspired by ideals is full of challenges and common people often hesitate to walk on that path. In such a situation, there is a need for a partner who is moving a little ahead and holds the hand and guide it.
The Sangh chief also spoke on the change. He said that change can be brought in society not only by things, but by bringing changes in life. He said, “How will the change reach people? Not by words, but that change in the life of volunteers will be seen first.” He said that when the lifestyle of volunteers will be seen, then only people will learn from them and adopt it.
Mohan Bhagwat said, “Thoughts are good, people accept them, but do not understand how to do it. When they see the example, they will take the path.” Bhagwat also said important things about the role of women in the society. He said that women are also joining the work departments of the union and their participation is increasing gradually. He said, “Men and women work together in social service work outside the organization. Sometimes women are in the role of leadership.”
He also shared an interesting anecdote and said, “In Jaipur, I was asked how many women are there in the Sangh? I said, as many volunteers are there, at least as much women are there.” A book called ‘Dedicated, Mana Dedicated’ was also inaugurated during the program. On this occasion, Bhagwat said, “Every family should buy this book and keep it at home. If we start our weekly family dialogue by reading some excerpts of this book every day, then our way of thinking, style of work and quality of life will improve.” He also said that this book is not only designed beautifully, but also technically well prepared.
