The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has clearly denied reports of searches or raids in any case related to the security of Tibetan religious part Holiness Dalai Lama in McLeodganj, Himachal Pradesh on Friday. The team said that this search operation was related to human trafficking case with ‘Dunki Route’.

The NIA has said that the raid on Friday was related to the ‘America Dunki Route’ human trafficking case, which was already given in a press note issued on Thursday.

The agency clarified that this raid had neither a relationship with the Dalai Lama nor the news related to any case related to Khalistani terrorists and the media in this regard is completely false.

The agency also clarified that the local police had already been informed about the raid and was present in McLeodganj along with the NIA team. The raids were conducted in Delhi with a parallel search. According to the press release released on Thursday, two more accused were arrested during the search in this human trafficking case.

The ‘America Dunky Route’ case is related to illegal human trafficking, in which people try to enter the US through illegal ways, especially the so -called ‘Dunki’ route. This path is dangerous and risky, in which smugglers promise to carry out migrants illegally with a hefty amount. The NIA is actively working to break such a network and there have been many arrests in this case earlier.
