New Delhi. South African team can win the first test match being played between Pakistan and South Africa. They have to score only 121 runs to win on the fourth day. If this happens then it will become the first team to reach the World Test Championship. Whereas, Pakistan will lose the match. Talking about the third day’s play, fast bowlers Mohammad Abbas (two wickets for three runs) and Khurram Shahzad (one wicket for 22 runs) have sent three South African batsmen to the pavilion.
Chasing the small target of 148 runs, South Africa has scored 27 runs for three wickets at the end of the third day’s play on Saturday. They still need 121 runs to win the match and make it to the final of the World Test Championship to be held in London next year. This wicket is helping the fast bowlers and in such a situation it will not be easy for South Africa to reach the target.

At the end of the third day’s play, Aiden Markram was playing on 22 runs while captain Temba Bavuma has not opened his account yet. Earlier, Pakistan scored 237 runs in its second innings. From their side, Saud Shakeel scored 84 runs and former captain Babar Azam scored 50 runs. For South Africa, Marco Janson took six wickets for 52 runs. Pakistan had scored 211 runs in its first innings, in response to which South Africa had scored 301 runs and gained a lead of 90 runs.
South African team is currently at number one in the points table. He has won 6 out of 10 matches. He has a total point percentage of 63.330. Whereas, Australia and India are at second and third place respectively. Australia’s point percentage is 58.890, whereas India’s point percentage is 55.880. If South Africa wins against Pakistan then the other team will be either India or Australia.
